iPhone 14 Pro Max: Cameras next Month Apple plans a fix for Grinding Vibrating

The ever-larger lens array may not be the only uncomfortable object about the iPhone 14 Pro Max's camera. Some users are reportage that the phone is creation grinding noises and vibrant when they try to take photos with third-party apps like Snap Chat and TikTok, harshly distorting the camera images and, in some cases, harmful the camera's hardware. The issue doesn't appear to be worldwide, but MacRumors has gathered grumbles from users across multiple social media sites and its own forums, as has The Guardian. Some YouTubers have also recognized the phenomenon.
Bloomberg's Mark German says that Apple has recognized the issue and plans to release a fix following week.
The distortion and shaking are most likely being triggered by the camera's optical image maintenance gyroscope, which when working generally corrects for shaking and hand gesture so that the camera can take in a bit lighter without taking blurry images (although the iPhone cameras do feature a kind of "visual" zoom, it's achieved using unlike physical lenses and not one lens with motorized parts that can physically zoom in and out).
Until Apple announcements a fix, users should try to refrain from using the camera within these apps—allowing the OIS gyroscope to grind for extended periods of time could damage the camera, and Apple exactly warns against assigning iPhones to motorcycles or other things that vibrate excessively. When possible, shooting photos or videos with the built-in camera app and then uploading or introducing them to your third-party app of choice is a workaround that could save your device approximately stress.
